Hello, dear user!

We’re glad to welcome you to the start page of Free development lab (RD AAOW FDL).

We’re working (to the best of our ability) on quite different projects and share the latest news. In addition, we publish results of developments, links to working tools and – in general – everything that turns out to be useful. And not only for ourselves, but also for our colleagues: our communities are open for thematic posts.

We’re sure that we will be able to offer you interesting and convenient solutions for typical and specific tasks. Well, or just something entertaining and non-standard. In addition, we will be glad to receive wishes and suggestions, as well as bug reports (descriptions of found problems) on active projects.

We’re looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial cooperation!

A little about the rules:

We take care of our colleagues. Therefore, a Social communities policy was developed and introduced, which is binding on all participants. Please note that it is of a protective and not restrictive nature.
We are also concerned about the ideological values of our communities. Therefore, there is an Application development policy that ensures compliance with all published products and developments.

Both documents are required for familiarization for the most complete understanding of the goals and objectives of the Laboratory

Dependencies of app products

If any product doesn’t work or doesn’t start correctly, check this list of requirements.

For apps and products running on Windows ():

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 – 2022 redistributable

Microsoft SQL Server Compact 4.0 SP1

Microsoft .NET Framework 6.0

Microsoft DirectX 9 updates

For applications and products running on Android ():

Android 4.2 or newer

Android 5.0 or newer

Android 6.0 or newer

Operating system limitations

Additionally, different versions of Windows OS may have different requirements for applications downloaded from the Internet. If the application continues to not work correctly, follow these steps:

Unlock the application:

Right-click on the executable file, select Properties.
In the window that opens, click the Unblock button.
Confirm the action with the OK button.

Run the application as administrator (similarly, via right-click).
In Windows 10 and newer versions, the previous paragraph can be replaced with the following steps:

Right-click on the executable file, select Troubleshoot compatibility.
In the window that opens, select the Troubleshoot program option.
Next, select only the The program requires additional permissions checkbox.
The interface will prompt you to test the program. Click Next button.
In the last step, select Yes, save these settings for this program.

These steps should help resolve potential difficulties in using our products.

DPArray

DPArray is a tool for managing Laboratory’s products on your PC. DPArray performs installation, deinstallation, check for updates, download of packages and their requirements. This tool is the only thing you need to start working with all of our projects. Now you can enable the “run at system startup” flag to allow the DPArray to check updates automatically at the OS start. Also our new mini-launcher allows you to call all deployed products from the tray icon.

ConcurrentDraw

The sound and music visualization tool. The app allows you to visualize audio data that comes from system’s output (system mixer or speakers). All sound that you can play on your PC can be drawn. No additional codecs are required

uNot (UniNotifier)

The web resources supervisor service. This app provides the ability to be notified when the content of user-specified websites changes. In other words, about updates on them, which will be presented in the form of a text log. Only what the user has specified is loaded – all other objects (including ads) are ignored

PA detector (Enchant it)

The paranormal activity search tool. Its task is to discover and mathematically confirm some paranormal activity. Before starting the experiment take a look at the project presentation and complete method description

Geomag data drawer

Stand-alone tool for building and designing diagrams based on tabular data

Make decision

This application illustrates a math method that allows comparing some objects or events based on a set of criteria and choosing the most “correct” one. User is invited to independently select variants and criteria for their comparison, as well as specify significance of each criterion and each element. As a result, you’ll get the answer for the next question: “what way is the best”

ES: Randomaze

ES: Randomaze is the maps generator for the mod with the same name. This tool was the part of the ESHQ mod for Half-Life 1. Now it is a stand-alone project
